Advancing the Kingdom

LTI President, Kevin Hinman, was honored to serve as the commencement speaker. Kevin gave a challenge to the current 7 graduates and the 42 previous graduates from the book of Joshua. He challenged them to remember this great milestone forever, but to cross the river and go forward to do great things for the Kingdom.

LTI gives a special thanks to Abyssinia for providing an offering toward the Swahili translation of the LTI material, which will be utilized at the new International Equipping Center in Tanzania, Africa.

The Graduates

Graduate Andrea Simon shared a dynamic and inspiring testimony at the service. She stated that the best part of the program was the practical projects and assignments that helped her apply what she was learning. Also, the small group activities required her to interact with other people, causing them to learn together and work effectively in a group. They developed a growing sense of community and team appreciation. Andrea feels that she now has the personal tools (and printed resources) to effectively lead in life, work, and ministry.

Flora Washington

Flora Washington

“Mother” Flora Washington inspired everyone as she shared how much she had grown and learned through the program despite being advanced in years. She declared that no  one should allow their age, lack of education or experience hold them back from taking on life challenges such as completing the LTI program. She felt that her ability to communicate improved greatly and that she thanked God for it,and the new opportunities that are now available because of it!
