LTI is partnering with St. John’s University in Tanzania to establish a center for Leadership with St. John’s in Dodoma, Tanzania. Dodoma is the government and educational center of the country.

LTI recruited Steven Kiruswa to serve as Director for the center. Dr. Kiruswa has begun his training with LTI at our office in Virginia to prepare for next summers launch. Dr. Kiruswa is traveling back and forth to Tanzania several times to get ready.

Dr. Steven Kiruswa
Former Masai Warrior
LTI Center Director, Tanzania

We have established five tracks for the center:

1) College Credit
2) College Certificate
3) Government Leader
4) Business Leader
5) Pastoral Leader

Dr. Steven Kiruswa has an amazing life story. He is a member of the famous Massai tribe in rural northern Tanzania. He is a former Massai warrior, considered the most feared warriors in Africa.

To become a Massai warrior, you must kill a lion with a short spear. He has personally killed one lion and participated with a team on two other kills. Because of his leadership skills, Steven was chosen by World Vision to receive full education through high school and college. Then, he was given a full scholarship by Regent University to obtain his Ph.D. At one time he was Director of all of Tanzania’s game preserves. We are very, very privileged to have Steven as the Director for the Center for Leadership in Tanzania.
